| I've seen a couple of episodes of the show "Final Fu" hosted by Master Ernie Reyes Jr. They have a number of martial artists of different styles that compete with each other. What do you think of the show?

The concept is great. I appreciate the fact that martial art is getting more exposure...whether it's cage fighting or point sparring or what ever Final Fu is trying to accomplish. But the show kind of sucks. I do record it though...but haven't watched it for the last two weeks. I tend to watch ESPN's kickboxing and other martial art competitions first. Actually, I watch everything else first.

| well, it's point sparring. Anyone who are doing tkd, karate, kung fu, or any stand up martial arts are very aware of. Some of those tricks are very cool. But I'd probably break my back trying...so great for them! Just like you, I like to concept, but a little bit to tacky. I also watch those ESPN tournament clips.

| You guys are too harsh. For reality martial arts show that are not MMA, it's actually pretty descent. It's what you come to expect in a sport karate type tournament. But instead of doing forms/katas, you do challenges. A few of them really have talent. Maybe not too useful in MMA or real fighting, like those acrobatic kicks they do, but hey at least they can do them. If you love watching MMA's, Final Fu is definitely not in the same realm, as stated in this article http://blogcritics.org/archives/2006/07/19/230512.php . But definitely some cool to watch as a martial artist. If anything, I hope it gets some people, adult and kids, get started or get back into training.

I have nothing against the style represented, Its just that, I cannot stand these emotional , whimpering self righteous cry babies that are representing the art.
Ernie Reyes is a great martial artist, I have no idea why he does not have the creative control on the show. Rumor has that Reyes is acting based upon what to "producers" want to to be.
To me they should name the show..Final Poo Poo..
