I would be interested in how other Instructors handle overzealous parents in the Dojang during training. You know the parent who wants their student to get the technique right in one try. Or yells out criticism during class.

Not that I have a large problem, just need a few options.

I've never had a really tough situations with parents...I'd consider myself lucky.  I'm sure other instructors can tell stories of "nightmare parents"

The parents I've dealt with that were somewhat overzealous respected what I had to say and, although not immediate, gradually eased down on their kid(s).  I simply spoke to them about their behavior and how kids learn and shared my experience in effectively teaching martial arts to kids.
