It appears that watching 8-year-olds play soccer proved just a little too frustrating for one German man, who, after one player committed a foul, ran onto the field and attacked the offender with a karate kick.

Fortunately the other spectators were quick to react, restraining the nut job before he could show off any additional martial arts skills.

But why did he fly off the handle? According to a police spokesman, "It seems likely the man was related to the player who was fouled, but it's not entirely clear at this point"

So, it's possible that this man is just enraged at the sorry state of Germany's soccer-playing youth, and this one, egregious trespass was the straw that broke the camel's back. To be honest, this is the explanation I'm hoping for.

The boy was bruised, and suffered grazes, but was otherwise unharmed. Maybe he'll think twice about that next slide tackle, though.

What do you think of this story? It's crazy!  I'd be doing my karate chop on the man!!

I wonder what would happen if that happened here in the US?  Would it be a big media mess and UFC/Cage fighting get blamed?

Yea, and it would not be the attackers fault for some liberal reason.

Unfortunately, a lot of Americans like to blame things on others and avoid accountability.

- Music made hurt or kills someone...sue the band!

- Video games taught me how to shoot...blah blah blah

- Fast food made my body a large lard a$$...sue the fast food chain

- Spilled my HOT coffee on myself...sue Mc Donalds for making it HOT!

In this case, it would be definitely so easy to blame martial arts.
