Well, I know it will sound wierd, but I'm a 2nd Dan Black Black in WTF Tae Kwon Do with 16 years of experience. I've also had 3 years of Hap Ki Do, 2 Years of Shao Lin 5 Animals Kung Fu and picked up a few moves here and there from other styles and even an anime or two.

Not weird at all.  I think rank is only great if you going to make a living out martial arts...say owning a school or giving seminars.  Aside from that...live it and learn as much as you can!

Not weird at all.  My dad, who was once my instructor (always will be) has been a 2nd Dan for over 20 years - refuses to test, just does not want to.
