Get involved in a local Church (that is if you are religious).

RE: Starting a school

Hey, Pete. Have you done some research yet about starting a school and if you are? Just curious. Keep us updated.

RE: Starting a school

Aside from business plan, which I'm sure you know, start networking in your community. Get to know other martial artists and showup or compete in tournaments. You don't want to be perceived as just some guy who's got a black belt that opened a school.Wherever you want to open the school, get the demographics and monthly dues other schools in your area are charging. Ask yourself "Why do these people want to take my class?" or "How can I reach out to these people who are interested in learning?"There's a lot to do. You'll just have to do some more research. But, hopefully, those can you get you started thinking in the right path.

RE: Starting a school

First have a business plan, that should give you a concept of how and what to do in opening your own dojang !

Starting a school

For years I'm been thinking about opening up a school here in AZ.
